Use data: The relevant personal information detailed above is required for NTW to arrange an appointment/home visit and/or to process an order. Northern Trade Windows processes all personal data lawfully, and in a fair and transparent way. In order for the customer to place an order it is mandatory to sign a contract, “processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract”. The signed contract is a legal ground for processing your data in order to fulfil contractual obligations.
Northern Trade Windows retention policy means we will process your personal data during the duration of any contract and will continue to store only the personal data needed to meet warranty and any legal obligations, after this your data will be destroyed. As an existing customer we may store your data for 10 years in order for us to fulfill your 10 year guarantee. We do not store any financial details such as credit or debit card numbers under any circumstances as we use World Pay as our payment provider to process any payments. No data is stored or handled outside of the European Economic Area.
Share: You will be please to know that we do not share any of your personal information with 3rd parties. However we do pass details of all installations (not including conservatories and porches) to FENSA Ltd who register the work with each Local Authority as appropriate and customer details are also passed to the GGF Group for the provision of the Insurance Backed Guarantee. The FENSA registration and Insurance Backed Guarantee processes are necessary and required for compliance purposes following the installation of our products. Your personal data is important to us, we take important security measures to ensure your data is kept secure and safe at our head office. We may contact you from time to time after installation to see if you would be interested in any special offers as valued existing customers.
Individual rights: As our customer, you have the right to be informed as to why, how and when your information will be processed, and what information is being used.
